Summary of the Position – Senior Consultant

The Senior Consultant is responsible for customer best-practices consulting, multi-vendor platform translations/migrations, data analysis and documentation. With the Global CX space expanding capabilities/technology beyond the traditional premise based contact center model, into either a hybrid model (Prem & Cloud) to by moving to a pure Cloud provider (CCAS), Blackchair are the industry leader in CX migrations globally.

Responsibilities

In this role, the primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • The primary objective of the Blackchair Senior Consultant is to apply industry best-practices consulting for multiple vendor platforms, as it relates to migrations (premise>premise, premise>cloud, cloud>premise, cloud>cloud, etc)
  • Deep data analysis, centering around CX configuration and historical call data
  • Using the Blackchair software platform, translation of data models from legacy platforms, to Cloud platforms
  • Quickly understands the Blackchair software platform and integrations into the CX space both on premise and cloud
  • Focuses on good communication & presentation skills (both oral & written), and is a demonstrated team player. Capable of working with limited supervision remotely or at a client’s site

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years Technical, hands on experience in two or more of the following areas:
  • Genesys, Avaya, Cisco, Five9, Nice InContact, Amazon Connect experience
  • Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Databases & Scripting (MongoDB, PostgresSQL, MSSQL, Oracle)
  • Scripting languages (JSON, Java, Javascript, PHP, VB, C++)
  • Virtualization platforms (VMWare, Citrix, etc)

 

  • Formal education in Software Engineering and/or Telecommunications at a bachelor level, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong data analysis & documentation skills
  • Must possess excellent customer facing skills at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to work in extremely complex projects and make difficult decisions
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • An effective communicator in English, both written and oral
  • Travel as required – 10%
